Who are we?

The Rite Care Clinic is a charitable project of the McAlester Scottish Rite Charitable and Educational Foundation and provides help to children who have communication difficulties. The clinic is located in the Scottish Rite Masonic Center.

We serve children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years. The child must have normal intelligence with specific reading writing, understanding, and speaking difficulties. The communication problems must not be a direct result of permanent hearing loss, emotional disturbances, or autism spectrum disorders.

Some of the services we provide: Speech evaluations and therapy, language evaluations and therapy, hearing testing, and home therapy management programs.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the McAlester RiteCare Clinic is to provide the opportunity for each child in southeastern Oklahoma that suffers from a communication disorder to receive services to overcome or cope with their speech, language, and/or literacy difficulties so they can achieve their educational and vocational endeavors and become a productive member of society.
